Synopsis
It [is an] unknown life form. And the whole beginning. The “Amazon Project,” an experiment to grow artificial humanoid life forms, has been secretly performed at a major pharmaceutical company, Nozama Pharmaceuticals. However, due to an accident in the institution that occurred during the study two years ago, about four thousand experimental organisms have been released into the town. Controller bracelets that like the quality of human proteins have been curbing the so-to-speak cannibalistic instincts essential to these experimental life forms, but their effects only last about two years, and the remaining time is too short. Nozama Pharmaceuticals has compiled an expert extermination squad to annihilate the experimental life forms, and has been working tirelessly in dealing [with the situation]. Meanwhile, Yū Mizusawa, one of the youths from two years ago, is cared for as an adopted child of Ryōhana Mizusawa, supervisor of the Amazon Project. He has also become aware of the changes happening within him. Hitoshi Takayama, an Amazon who hunts other Amazon, has begun behaving erratically as well. [Hitoshi]’s objective is to solve the aforementioned mystery. Full of intricate twists, the tale of Yū and Hitoshi’s encounter is unfolding on a grand scale…
